1) What are three things that will never fail to make you happy?
Eric: Skiing, social gatherings, and of course, my wife Allison.
Joie: Coffee, the ocean breeze, and the scent of freshly mown grass.
Hannah: Going to a plant nursery, cuddling with my dogs, and spending time with my four nephews.
2) If you were given $1,000, what would you do with it?
Eric: Invest it. (Would you expect anything different?)
Joie: Make an extra car payment.
Hannah: I would save most of it for future expenses, like vet bills, going on vacation, or fixing my car, and then use the last hundred or so to buy some fun things I've been wanting but haven't indulged in.
3) What is your favorite board game?
Eric: Chess. I'm all about the strategy.
Joie: Chess, not that I'm good at it...?
Hannah: "Imagine If", a fun game about guessing what someone you know would do in a given situation. It is a great conversation starter, a way to get to know each other, and a lot of fun.
4) What is something most people don't know about you?
Eric: I love to travel. In another newsletter, I'll share some of my favorite places I've been.
Joie: What color my hair will be, because I change it so often.
Hannah: Most people don't know that I love writing and have self-published two novels.
5) What is your favorite aspect of the work you do at AZTEC?
Eric: Helping my clients create financial freedom. It brings me fulfillment to know I'm making an impact on their lives.
Joie: Helping people.
Hannah: I enjoy researching and writing blog postsabout financial topics the most. Much like "the girl in the green scarf" from the movie Confessions of a Shopaholic, I look for ways to make financial topics relatable, understandable, and interesting to the general public.
