As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him. This is the divine mystery supreme. A wonderful thing it is and the source of our happiness. We need not wait to see what others do.”
Robyn’s Role at AZTEC Financial Group
Robyn is responsible for managing a variety of daily tasks that keep the company thriving. She does everything from client account setup, account applications, paperwork transfers, sending and receiving client funds, and linking bank accounts, to working with fund companies to obtain transfer forms, researching the status of transfers, and answering all client questions in a timely manner. In addition to all of that, she also writes and edits social media posts and client newsletters, answers phones, and maintains the office and all files (paper and digital).
Meet Robyn
Robyn was born in Portland, Maine, and currently resides in Dover, New Hampshire. But don’t let that fool you into thinking she’s never been out of New England. In fact, she has only one U.S. state left to visit…but I guess you’ll have to stay tuned for an update from Robyn to find out which one it is! She has also been to 14 countries in Europe and spent three months in Australia.
The coolest places she’s ever been are Squamish, British Columbia, Bern, Switzerland, and Missoula, Montana. She loved them equally and can not wait to go back. Robyn advises, “You MUST visit these places in your lifetime. They are so different from the rest of the world.” She has always wanted to go to Fiji but has not made it there, YET.
Robyn lives with her almost 10-year-old daughter, two cats, and a rabbit. She has one older brother who has two daughters of his own, and her folks have been married for 52 years and live in Laconia. When she’s not working, Robyn enjoys doing crafts, swimming, light hikes, biking, kayaking, photography, horseback riding, dancing, and anything that involves spending time with her daughter.
Robyn loves living in this area of the world for several reasons, including the fact that her family is here, and it’s a gorgeous place to live. She says that Portland Head Light (located in Fort Williams Park, Cape Elizabeth, Maine) is enough to always bring her home to New England.

What Robyn Loves Most About Working at AZTEC Financial Group
Robyn loves working at AZTEC Financial Group for many reasons, but her top reason was Eric, himself! She said, “He is the calmest, kindest person and is so wonderful to work for, and with. This job is completely opposite to my English and Speech degrees and background, but when his daughter told me 11 years ago that her father needed a new assistant, I was immediately on board. His family is one of my favorites, so I made it work. I took a break to learn more about kids for a while…but came right back!”

Joie’s Role at AZTEC Financial Group
Joie is a part-time data gathering and data entry assistant. She pieces together details to create financial plans for AZTEC Financial Group’s clients. The more information provided, the more accurate the plan will be, so part of her job is ensuring she collects the most relevant and accurate information possible. She also helps with daily customer service tasks, such as answering client calls and emails regarding their accounts.
Meet Joie
Joie was born in Dallas, Texas, and now lives in Dover, New Hampshire. What she loves most about living here in New England are the seasons because there is always something to look forward to. One of the coolest places she has ever been to is Glendalough, Ireland. She loves learning about new places, customs, and animals, so she is always wanting to go somewhere new. When she’s not working, she enjoys gardening, cooking, and sewing.

Eric’s Role at AZTEC Financial Group
Eric is a financial educator and planner. He educates his clients so they know what funds they are in and what to expect going forward. He understands that when it comes to finances, surprises often make people make errors, and he works to avoid that with his clients. He also creates financial plans for clients to help them secure their futures. As Joie said, the more information they have, the more accurate the plan will be, so he works closely with clients to ensure he has all the necessary information to create the best plan.
Meet Eric
Eric was born in Laconia, New Hampshire, and now resides in Rochester, New Hampshire. He loves living here because he thinks New Hampshire is a great place; it has low crime, four seasons, and a variety of outdoor activities to do from skiing and hiking to boating and swimming, and so much more.
The coolest place Eric has ever been to is South Africa. He most enjoyed that there were so many unique items aspects of the trip–from the culture to the animals. He has not yet been to Egypt but has always wanted to go there to follow the pyramids.
You may already know that Eric enjoys skiing and mountain climbing – all over the world – when he’s not in the office. Something you may not know about him is that he used to own a 7-foot Boa Constrictor!
